Miracle of the Century

My sister in law is almost 43. We have a kinship because we've both experienced infertility and we've both been blessed to add to our families through adoption. But my sister in law has had a particularly painful time with her infertility. She was never, ever pregnant. She and her husband adopted their little gorgeous girl about 13 years ago and did all they could to get more children, but to no avail. This good couple decided a couple of years ago to let go of that dream and move on with their lives. Last week my SIL delivered a sweet, round, precious, PERFECT little girl and Lindsey is now a big sister.
No one can ever convince me that miracles have ceased!

  2. Congratulations on your precious blessing and MIRACLE to your family. To be a parent to a child (bio-logical or otherwise)has got to be the most precious gift one can receive. We are again considering adoption and Foster parenting. xo Blessings, HHL

  10. Wow that's so amazing. Congratulations! My sister also had struggles with conceiving. They were pretty far down the road of adoption when she became pregnant. She now has a 3-year-old, and they told her "no way you'll have another", so they figured one healthy boy was miracle enough, although they did want another. Well, my 43-year-old sister, who already has a 3-year-old boy, is now expecting TWINS! You really do just never know...

  13. Absolutely WONDERFUL....I can't imagine the joy they are experiencing right now.
I have a DIL who has only one kidney. She and my son have not yet started their family, but there could be serious health issues involved. Miracles. Love them.
