Heart

1st, I'm excited to announce the winner of this week's giveaway from Simply Simon is Stef from Glitterbabe!

This is a picture of my two oldest children, both of whom now have children of their own. Wow. Where did the time go?

It's true. My heart belongs to my family ... Physical distance just means my heart is stretched further. For those of you with kids, did you have any idea your heart could stretch so far? Don't have kids? What/who has captured your heart?

This is so true! My heart is outside my body when it comes to my kids!
Sadly I have no parents in my life .... so my love is so strong for my children....and I hope that love just continues to grow as I get older. xoxo

  2. I love that phrase, "your heart is just stretched further." Just like it grows bigger with each baby that's born.

  7. I had NO idea that I could love someone the way that I love my children. It is such a deep and protective love that they don't understand yet but, if they have kids they will...

Keep trying for Friday Pretties and then I will just leave you on if you want.
(If you can't link up let me know.)

    Have a fun weekend,

  8. I love the quote and the picture of your kids it too cute! It's true that you don't really understand unconditional love and the ability to truly put another's needs first until you have kids! xoxo

  10. When my son became a father, I became unable to explain the love I have in my heart. There are just no words. Watching him with his daughter...it's just unbelievable that my heart can even hold this much love. It's the closest I can come to imagining how much I am loved by God. To know that He loves me even more than that, wow!

  15. What intrigues me is that my heart could handle multiple kids. After the first I thought there was no way to handle loving another. That I'd be forced to forgo love somewhere. It just multiplies.

  16. I wanted kids more than I have ever wanted anything. But since I couldn't have them I got my dog. My gorgeous dog expands my heart everyday. Love her madly.

  18. Love that picture, and this is exactly why I'm terrified to have kids... I just can't imagine all that love and all that heartbreak just walking around....

pray for me friend... my first day of medical school is Monday and I could not be full of more nervousness and self doubt!

  20. love the hats! i don't have children yet, but considering the tremendous (and somewhat unexpected) amount of love i've come to have for my two little kitties, i can only assume that my heart will explode when kids do come into the picture. :)
