Water heals.
So for me, if I can't get out on the water,
I try to find a place to see the water - even if just in an aquarium.

    It always amazes me how many colors water can actually have.... from my office desk I can see the water in the harbour... which is somewhat dangerous as my mind starts to wander everytime I watch the water where my thoughts should really be on my job..... but at lease half of us in the office can see the water, so guess I am not the only one with a wandering mind.... thanks for sharing those quotes :o)

    I know what you mean about the water. I live about five blocks from Fox River. My husband and I use to ride our bikes along the trail until I had back surgery (I have spinal stenosis), but I'm not going to let it get me down. I still love to go there, and walk a little and they have benches there to sit. I wish we could go together because everything is so much more enjoyable with a friend! Have a great day!
