by small and simple things ...

"By small and simple things are great things brought to pass"
Book of Mormon, Alma 37:6

What do you think? Any experiences you'd like to share where small things have brought great results?

  1. I love the little iron- so cute.
Well the first thing that comes to mind is the miracle of life.

Who knew that one tiny sperm could grow up to talk back SO much-

Just kidding- but really the miracle of my children.

  3. I knew my husband as just a friend for about a year before I realized I was in love with him. It was all the little things he did and the nuances in his character that built up to be a big thing that I finally noticed. A big wonderful man made up of a million small wonderful things.

  5. Wasn't it: The wing of a butterfly can cause a storm? A kind word, a lively sperm... Small things often have big effects, for sure. xo

  7. I think the simplest things can make the biggest difference - totally agree that a small kind word, an encouragement, a smile. :) (This is hitting me a bit emotionally too, b/c of a recent post I had on this theme http://judefoodlife.blogspot.com/2010/09/musical-moment.html). Loving your post today (most days!)

  12. I had someone tell me that I had impacted their life in a very real way. I was shocked... still am...and asked how. They said in so many small ways that added up.

I guess you just never know who's watching you.
