I knew my husband as just a friend for about a year before I realized I was in love with him. It was all the little things he did and the nuances in his character that built up to be a big thing that I finally noticed. A big wonderful man made up of a million small wonderful things.
I think the simplest things can make the biggest difference - totally agree that a small kind word, an encouragement, a smile. :) (This is hitting me a bit emotionally too, b/c of a recent post I had on this theme http://judefoodlife.blogspot.com/2010/09/musical-moment.html). Loving your post today (most days!)
Love your posts...I had to giggle about the sperm growing up to talk back!!! CUTE!!!
Simple small things.....tons of them....the butterfly that is sitting on my windowsill....the smile from my grandsons, seeing my Mom giggle until she cried....small is great!!!!
I had someone tell me that I had impacted their life in a very real way. I was shocked... still am...and asked how. They said in so many small ways that added up.
I love the little iron- so cute.
ReplyDeleteWell the first thing that comes to mind is the miracle of life.
Who knew that one tiny sperm could grow up to talk back SO much-
Just kidding- but really the miracle of my children.
Can't think of anything but I love the post and Ren's comment. Still chuckling over that!
