Fitness Challenge Update
In my continued preparation for the April Marathon I must tell you that I've been DILIGENTLY running, CAREFULLY eating and getting proper amounts of sleep. YAY for me! However .... the weight is not dropping very quickly.
Since last picture I lost 2.3 pounds.
Today (a week later) I gained one of those pounds back. UGH. I am NOT demotivated though. ONWARD! Here's to a week of losing weight (*cross* your fingers for me)
Do you use My Fitness Pal? It's a free app and a website where you can track your food, exercise, and measurements. I have been using it since the beginning of the year and I have dropped 6 lbs. Of course, I have futher to go than you do. :) I faithfully log everything and it's helped me be wiser about food choices, even healthy ones. You might also check your daily caloric intake because I recently read that eating too little can also stall your progress.
That beings said, I also think you look great and perhaps you are building muscle instead of merely dropping pounds. At least you've been able to enjoy this gorgeous weather we've been having on your daily run!
I think you look fantastic :)
ReplyDeleteWay to go for working to get fit! Keep it up, even when it's tough. You can definitely reach your goal. :)

Muscle weighs more than fat. You're building muscle. And you're kicking de-MOTIVATION where it counts!
