some of my favorite things

Just for fun, here are some of the things I'm really glad to have:
* I love my titanium necklace from ... titanium is known for balancing energy and helping with healing
* For Christmas my husband gave me these awesome Vibram shoes. When I walk in them it feels sort of like walking through mud or squishing butter between my toes. LOVE them!
* I'm a juice fanatic. The Juiceman is a good machine that gets the job done fast AND is easy to clean!
* Any essential oil lovers out there? I'm borderline CRAZY about essential oils and this diffuser from Young Living is the best ever.
* My friend, Loa, introduced me to GSE (grapefruit seed extract) as a natural way to keep viruses at bay. I swear by it.
* When listing my favorite things I would be really remiss to leave out MY BED. It's SO comfy: feather pillow, down comforter and feather bed topper.

  1. I enjoyed reading about your favourite things;)
GSE is very good and can be used for various things, too. xx

  2. great list! i have a friend with those shoes and she loves them. do you wear toe socks or no socks with them? GSE is a great anti-oxidant. I also love essential oils (used to make cold process soaps). lavender is one that you can use directly on your skin. pregnant women should not use rosemary oil or pepperment oil straight.

  3. "These Are a Few of My Favorite Things" is going to be the theme for my Christmas 2012 decorating! I've already gotten a little start on it, so your list was ironically fitting for me. I will be posting a future "Ten Things I Like" soon, too, finding that we do take so much for granted, don't we? OUR BEDS! We could be sleeping on a mat on the floor... God's so good to us, girl!

  4. Thanks for posting this. Love seeing what other people enjoy and use. I'm excited to find out what your good news is.

  5. Great list! My bed is super comfy, too, especially since we just bought some extra-cozy fleece sheets.

  6. I've been seeing people wearing those shoes. They look a bit funny to me but I bet they are really comfortable!

  7. Brilliant list D - You had me nodding and thinking with each item.

On the first day of the year Captain V and I sat on a mountain to watch the sunrise and then scooted down to the beach walk on the sand and dip our toes into the glorious water of our beach.

I tell you this because it was a special start to the year but alongside all of this bliss is etched the memory of a guy wearing a pair of Vibram shoes on the sand. I'd only seen them in photos so to see someone in real life wearing them on the beach was startling. I kind of wondered why he wasn't squishing his toes into the sand but if the sensation of wearing them is like having butter ooze through your toes then I can kind of understand.

As for the rest of your list - two thumbs up from me. Another EXCELLENT anti-viral is Olive Leaf extract. I swear by it and keep a little spray bottle in my purse all the time.

    Happy day Lovely!

  8. Those shoes sound wonderful. I've heard great things about grape seed extract. Great list. I love my bed too.
