I know I've already posted a sunflower picture this week ... but .......
gorgeous, aren't they!?!
I'm a lover of Robert Service poetry (thanks to my husband, Brad)
I especially love his The Call of The Wild. I often think of this phrase:
"Have you gazed on naked grandeur where there's nothing else to gaze on ..."
and he ends most of the stanzas with:
"Then listen to the Wild - it's calling you"
Have you suffered, starved and triumphed, groveled down yet grasped at glory
Grown bigger in the bigness of the whole?
"Done things" just for the doing, letting babblers tell the story
Seeing through the nice veneer the naked soul?
Have you seen God in His splendors, heard the text that nature renders?
(you'll never hear it in the family pew)
The simple things. The true things. The silent men who do things -
Then listen to the Wild ~ it's calling you!
Beautiful! I really like that first image - makes me feel like I'm laying in a field of flowers with the warm sun on my face and a cool breeze on my skin :)

When I saw your profile and your beautiful hair cut and the color I thought wow, how pretty, I love her hair! Then I read about you and how you gave your silver strands to your mother.
