Carousels & Daisies

School just got out last week here in Nevada ... I know, late - isn't it!
So as we've been talking in our family about things we'll be doing I remembered this great quote by Nadine Stair:
There will always be dishes to wash, jobs to work, floors to scrub. And while we, in our family, will work to make sure those things get done, our emphasis this summer will be on daisies and merry-go-rounds.

What are your summer plans?

  6. What a great goal for summer! I also recently read a quote that said something like, "No one will come to the end of their life and say, I think I spent too much time with my kids." We're trying to keep that in mind this summer and just relax and play together.

  8. More merry-go-rounds sounds like a good summer plan to me!
I hope to spend more time outside, go for more walks, and eat more ice cream.
