This is the first time I've seen/read this quote - but we always say something simliar when asked - how we can consider adopting, how could we love a child that is not our blood ?- Hubby and I always answer How could we not, a child is the most precious gift you could ever receive.
For me, I always try to look for the good in someone - I don't believe someone is "born bad" - I always wonder what happened to a person to make them heartless.
I thought I agreed but I read it to my husband and he said "nope - Charles Manson" - ever the realist. It's a lovely thought nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteThat's lovely.
