... in case you were wondering ...

You can't read the ending part very well ... it says:
My life is made up of Silver Strands received from you, Mom & Dad
and you taught me to give faith a fighting chance and to
I love you

  1. I LOVED this! And I just want to give you a big ol' hug. I need to jump on the vlog bandwagon.

  2. Denalee, I just want you to know that what you are doing is such a big help to so many people not just to your family.

It is one thing to read your blog, but an entirely different thing to watch a video and to hear you speak. I feel like I already know you.

When I was in eighth I lost my grandfather to lung cancer. At the time I was too young to understand why bad things happen to good people. When I got married last year I wanted nothing more than to have my grandfather in attendance.

I know now that although he may not be here physically, he is still with me here in heart and soul. Reading about you and your family has helped me to overcome my loss and to realize that just because bad things happen does not mean that life itself is not good.

I am sitting here at my keyboard in tears, but this time they are not tears of sorrow, but tears of joy because I am remembering all of the good times that I had with my grandfather and I am thinking about all of the people who you are helping.

Much love, much appreciation, and much thanks to you for being such an inspiration to us all.

I am keeping you and your family in my prayers always. xo

  13. What a touching video (and blog)! This brought a tear to my eye. You girl, look amazing in short hair! My eldest daughter always try to grow her hair out, and can't resist cutting it (she cuts, colors, and styles it herself). Her's is as short as yours is right now, and she always gets so many compliments on it being adorable on her. I think her face (and yours) is perfect for that short hair style! :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I enjoyed that so much, I appreciate your comments as well.
My prayers are with you and your family today.
    God bless you!
