Denalee, I just want you to know that what you are doing is such a big help to so many people not just to your family.
It is one thing to read your blog, but an entirely different thing to watch a video and to hear you speak. I feel like I already know you.
When I was in eighth I lost my grandfather to lung cancer. At the time I was too young to understand why bad things happen to good people. When I got married last year I wanted nothing more than to have my grandfather in attendance.
I know now that although he may not be here physically, he is still with me here in heart and soul. Reading about you and your family has helped me to overcome my loss and to realize that just because bad things happen does not mean that life itself is not good.
I am sitting here at my keyboard in tears, but this time they are not tears of sorrow, but tears of joy because I am remembering all of the good times that I had with my grandfather and I am thinking about all of the people who you are helping.
Much love, much appreciation, and much thanks to you for being such an inspiration to us all.
I am keeping you and your family in my prayers always. xo
Oh boy, you made me cry again. I know I said it before but you Mom is so blessed to have raised such an awesome, caring daughter. I am so moved by your story. I will keep you family in my prayers. I have to say, you should always wear your hair short ~ it suits you ~ it shows off your lovely face and that huge smile! xo
oh sweetie! this was a wonderful video...i love everything you've said, your beautiful personality shines through and your mother, my goodness i can see where your beauty comes from in the first place!
thanks for opening up your heart and sharing.
your silver strands...both the hair and the bracelet are beautiful!
This is love in action, no doubt about it. I can only imagine how deeply loved and supported your beautiful Mum must be feeling. God bless you. Meredy xo.
What a wonderful video, and I'm so glad you shared your lesson from what I'm sure was a very personal experience. I'm so glad you are sharing your experience.
'Faith without works is dead' is too often a lesson learned too late. You are a shining example that action is not so difficult when it comes from the heart. I thank you for that revelation!
What a beautiful video! It brought tears to my eyes. There was so much wisdom in your words, and choice of song.
Know that by sharing your story so openly it inspires me to further share and keep sharing mine. You are inspiring me to Dance ... My butt is slowly lifting out of my chair.
Denalee, They say angels are among us and you definitely are one of them. Your story is so powerful about what LOVE is really about! Every single person can take something from your story. It reminds us what our main purpose here on earth it- to love. You got it right! I love the silver strands bracelet your mom gave you, how fitting is that!!! And can I just say this sincerely, you look stunning in short hair! I'm so glad I've gotten to know you through this awesome blogging world and you will always have my prayers for your beautiful family! lots of love to you, deb xOxO
What a touching video (and blog)! This brought a tear to my eye. You girl, look amazing in short hair! My eldest daughter always try to grow her hair out, and can't resist cutting it (she cuts, colors, and styles it herself). Her's is as short as yours is right now, and she always gets so many compliments on it being adorable on her. I think her face (and yours) is perfect for that short hair style! :) Thanks for stopping by my blog. I enjoyed that so much, I appreciate your comments as well. My prayers are with you and your family today. God bless you! @}`~}~~~ Gloria
Thank you sweetie for leaving a lovely comment at my blog, and i am so touched, deeply touched by your blog, thanks for sharing everything with us, you are truly a blessing for us all, xoxo
Tender and heartwarming message. I was very moved by the image of your mother touching your bowed head. It was beautiful. Continued prayers of healing to you all.
This is such a great thing you are doing; I'm glad we get to follow along your journey through your blog. When loved whens are in pain, sometimes there is no way to aid them; I'm glad you've found a way to bring joy to the situation. And I loved your inspiration for it; it has always been my belief that if you put the effort there, it works out. You are a beautiful person, inside and out!
Although I don't know you personally, I can tell just by looking at the photos that you and your clan are an AWESOME family! Wish you lived next door to me! Thanks for sharing.
I LOVED this! And I just want to give you a big ol' hug. I need to jump on the vlog bandwagon.
