Inspirational Giveaway ... Joy in the Journey

Many of you know Jeanette from Everton Terrace.
If you want to feel cheerful, relax, breathe deeply ... head on over to her blog for a moment or two.
Let me tell you something else about Jeanette:
When I was asking for paper cranes for my mother, Jeanette was one who reposted my request on her blog. She was the means of my mother receiving even more cranes. Jeanette is just a very nice person!
And talented.
Look what she made, special, just for this blog giveaway!
But I'm hoping she'll make more and carry them in her Everton Terrace Etsy Shop ... cuz I know we all want one! Jeanette's description of this gorgeous piece:
I used a 7/8" sterling silver disc. It has been handstamped and oxidized - this provides shading in the stamping. The chain is an 18" sterling silver ball chain. I've hung a faceted rose quartz crystal which is said to heal the emotional body and offer inner peace and you know, it's pink which is pretty.

I find joy in the journey whenever I meet someone new. I also find joy in the journey when I can make someone smile, or when they make me smile. I find joy in the journey when I meet someone truly inspirational and come away from that meeting feeling like I have somehow been changed for the better.

    Much love Denalee. xxxooo

  12. I loved the golden vintage glass necklace with the same inscription!

I actually named my own blog after enjoying the journey! (www.enjoyourjourney.blogspot.com)

Two things I do to enjoy the journey:
    1. I don't try to do everything all at once. There are times and seasons in life for different pursuits, so I don't worry about "missing out" on anything right now.

    2. I actively plan fun activities for my family- and sometimes just for myself. There are a lot of "have-to-do" chores in life. So I make sure we take time to have fun as well.

  13. I just jumped over here from Jeanette's blog and I don't know what a paper crane is (unless it's a piece of paper that looks like a crane-then I do). All of Jeanette's stuff is wonderful and she's really cool (we're related-shhh).But, just wanted to send you and your mom some well wishes and we will keep her in our prayers. I find joy in the journey by walking with Christ... Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart, Psalm 37:4 Thant's how I do it.
